Maneuvering Park
In the maneuvering park module it is intended that students acquire the basic concepts and mechanisms of driving.
To help students achieve these goals we designed a set of exercises that will gradually increase the difficulty degree.
At the learning start are: beginning of march, gearshift, starting and stopping the vehicle, reverse gear and reversing direction and going uphill and downhill.
Vehicle Control
In a next step the student will be asked to perform the following exercises:
- Clutch biting point;
- Parking (reverse gear, parallel, between vehicles);
- Precise braking in various terrain types (tarmac, dirt, snow, ice and wet);
- Testing of the safety distance.
Advanced driving
In a more advanced stage of the lessons the student can also practice:
- Overtaking from the left and right;
- Developing capacities for anticipating;
- Evaluation of the visual perceptive exploration (VPE);
- Circumventing obstacles (traffic cones).
Driving under the influence of alcohol
In the simulator it is possible for the student to realize the dangers of driving after consuming alcoholic beverages.
Thus there are several exercises for different rates of alcohol:
? 0.5 g/l (grams per liter)
? 0.8 g/l
? 1.2 g/l
In the image below you can see the significant reduction of the field of view for a rate of 1.2 g/l.
Independent driving
Lastly students can practice in free mode, meaning the virtual instructor does not give orders, only warning of violations ? what is intended here is for the instructor in person to give the student instructions.
These are the first circuits and are used to adapt to driving. The traffic is reduced.
Existing scenarios are:
? Maneuvering circuit;
? Acceleration circuit.
